Movies That Don't F*cking Suck!!!!!! - The International Edition

Courtesy of G4TV

Good music, good food, good blog sites (We Miss You Piff!!!!!) are so hard to find these days.  But this post isn't talking about music, food, blogs or whatever.  This is about movies.  Good a$$ movies are so f*cking hard to find.  You go to the movie theaters, drop $10 or more on some movie that had a so-so trailer, mixed reviews and a cast who seem like they flunked theater school.  Before the movie is over you realize that you wasted 90 to 120 minutes of your life.  Unless you were getting high or getting f*cked during the movie the whole experience was a fail.  Going to the video store or a DVD kiosk is even worse.  Once upon a time, you could count on movies to let you escape the real world and CTFU.  Now you gotta be a detective in order to find anything worth plopping down for.

When it comes to finding movies these days, I look everywhere.  I check out different movie sites, do some digging at my local Blockbuster (which happens to be the only one left in the whole state), the $1 a day red box and YouTube.  Whether it came out in theaters or Straight-To-DVD does not matter to me.  For a while now I have been checking out movies produced outside of Hollywood.  In fact, they were just produced outside of the U.S.  I use to have a bias when it came to foreign films.  When I was younger I could not stand subtitles.  But as I got better at reading and picked up some speed I started giving some of these films a chance.  Damn, my bigotry made me miss out on some real gems.  In some cases, a lot of these foreign films have versions dubbed in english.  The english voice actors are a lot better now than they were 10 years ago.

Below are some movies that I dare you to go seek out.  Rent, buy or download...just find them and watch them.  You won't be disappointed.

Battle Royale - A movie with Japanese students killing each other off...IS F*CKING EPIC!!!! If you smoke you're going to blow your mind. If you don't smoke...YOU'RE REALLY GOING TO F*CKING BLOW YOUR MIND!!!! I came across on Wikipedia they had plans to make an American version. But because this country has a school shooting almost every week and uptight White People calling the shots the American remake is in creative limbo. I don't mind at all. Most American remakes of Japanese films are sh*t anyway. I don't mind reading subtitles when a movie is as good as this one.

Martyrs - I found this movie online searching for horror/thriller flicks on Wikipedia. This is the first time I saw the trailer for this movie. The trailer is good. It shows you enough to get you interested but it doesn't reveal the whole movie. When you watch this movie you'll reach a point where you think its over when it really takes you on a surprise roller coaster ride that will leave you speechless when the movie is actually over. If you think Riski from DailyPiff is the craziest French person you know you haven't seen real crazy sh*t yet. This movie actually has English dubbed audio (the version i saw) and its high quality. I've seen this at Blockbuster so if you have one in your area you might wanna check it out.

À l'intérieur : Inside - Me and my girl actually got this movie at a Blockbuster in their foreign section. Another French thriller (it has English dubbed audio) that will leave you satisfied but has side effects such as being speechless for a half hour and not wanting to have kids. You might also be turned off by French women too.

Eden Lake - I've seen a lot of films over the years that have scared me into not going on a weekend camping trip. This movie easily joined the list. Out in the middle of East What The F*ck, the couple are at the mercy of some kids who clearly never felt a belt across their a$$es. The whole movie is good and the ending is great in a f*cked up kind of way.

I'm gonna be dropping some more movies on ya'll in the future. I'll have to throw in some shows as well when I get the chance.

If you have an idea for a posting or you're in need of advice from me or the bloggers please send it to realspitforyall@gmail.com.
