Justice Served or a Bad Joke??? - Serial Killers Receiving A Life Sentence

Courtesy of angryjerk.net

Whatever happened to the old saying "the punishment should fit the crime" or "match the crime" or however its suppose to go.  The Code of Hammurabi talk about "Eye for eye, tooth for tooth."  Before I learned that in History my folks were always telling me if someone hits you you hit them back, but harder.  What can I say, when it comes to people, especially Blacks, we don't f*ck with that tit for tat.  If somebody comes at us we come back harder.  That's calling it even in our eyes.  Sh*******t, we didn't start it but we sure as hell will finish it.
In the picture above we have some of my country's most notorious killers.  These muthaf*ckas put the problems in my term "White People, White Problems."  I know, that term is far from politically correct.  F*ck it fits.  Sure white people are not the only race who got sadistic, sociopathic killers running around but they definitely are the first to own the title.  Take a look at the past: The Bible's Cain (I'm not sure if the Bible depicts him as a Caucasian but what person of color has that f*cking name), Jack The Ripper (He was English, no way in hell his last name was Jackson or Gonzales) and Adolf Hitler (Enough said).

Anyways this post isn't about which race has the worst killers (That will be coming sooner or later).  This is about how funny the American justice system can look when it tries to be considered "humane" or "civilized."  Depending on what state you live in, the death penalty may or may not be an option.  If it is, I'm sure its a topic of debate for politicians, the legal system and the families of murder victims.

How is preserving the life of someone who has no regard for life civilized?  In some ways I can see how its humane.  Life is seen as sacred no matter the being in question in a lot of cultures and religions.  The fact that a killer is afforded such respect depending on where they committed the crime is more of a head scratcher to me than noble.  I would think that a person who has taken the life of one or more people in cold blood should be forced to forfeit their own.  It may not bring the victims back, but it may bring some closure to their families.  Also, it would save the rest of us who work some tax money.  Why should the condemned have free health care when there are innocent people walking around without coverage?  You got people homeless or down on their luck committing crimes just so they have a roof over their heads, food, clothing and a routine check up.  They rather take the chance of being raped, beaten and stabbed behind bars than pay hundreds of dollars for a prescription without coverage.

How do you guys feel?  Should the death penalty be universally accepted?  If the punishment is not practiced in your region do you feel it should?

If you have an idea for a posting or you're in need of advice from me or the bloggers please send it to realspitforyall@gmail.com.
